This has commissioned a service to establish and maintain a support service for individuals seeking help with welfare benefits and housing issues. The service is predominantly focused on supporting people with disabilities and older people.
Reposession Help Desk
If a client is facing eviction and has a court hearing at Chelmsford County Court our Court Desk Representatives can attend the hearing with the client, offer advice to defendants in possession hearing proceedings and is open every Monday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Finance Benefit Plus – Probation
We have one advisers, one placed in Chelmsford Probation office. Our advisers will offer financial capability support coaching with individual advocacy. Referral is through the probation service.
Finance Benefit Debt Plus – HMP Chelmsford
We have two remand support advisers who provide FBD advice plus other areas those on remand need help with. Referral is through pre-release team. But there may be scope to extend this.
